Today, I walked off my job at @goodhousekeeping with my beloved @hearstunion colleagues. We’ve been working on organizing this union then bargaining a fair, equitable contract for four years and it is about damn time we wrapped it up. I walked off in support of not just fair wages but industry-leading wages. Not just diverse hiring practices but diverse retention. Not just a severance package, but one that keeps us on our feet. Not just benefits, but a package that values our work-life balance. We all deserve to be paid what we’re worth and able to build a career at @hearstmagazines. I love my job. I love my colleagues. That’s why I’m honored to fight for and with them. ✊ #1u #hearstwalkout #solidarity
Happy Valentine’s Day to @jerry_guymer’s dad, my Brooklyn wander buddy, travel partner, and best friend. You’re the best, @thenickguy. Can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us. 💜 #guymer716
