A grid-worthy post if I’ve ever seen one. It's been a long road, but the Hearst Magazines Bargaining Committee is absolutely over the moon to announce that Hearst Magazines has officially ratified our first collective bargaining agreement with the @wgaeast with more than 96% of voters saying YES to our contract. Today and forever after, 500+ workers at Hearst Magazines are protected under a CBA, and we couldn't be prouder to be part of this historic moment. #1u #solidarityforever #andtheworldwillknow #newsiesforever

We did it. We unionized @hearstmagazines. Forever after, the workers at the most famously anti-union publisher in history (Newsies, anyone?) will be protected. When I started this journey, I’d only been working at Good Housekeeping for coming up on 2 years. I loved my job. Still do! But even though my direct managers were and are awesome, I knew the company as a whole could do better by our people, and I’ve never shied away from a challenge.
